Laser Junction was established in 1995 and over the years the business has established itself as a market leader in the sheet metal industry, specialising in laser cutting, punching, CNC bending and steel fabrication. The company is one of the largest of its kind in South Africa with over 215 skilled employees. Laser Junction continually invests in the latest technology and equipment and is one of the largest owners of Trumpf machinery in Africa.

The business has the skills, knowledge and flexibility to tackle a wide range of customer requirements from high volume ‘direct to line supply’ production work; once-off jobbing shop orders and large scale special projects, Laser Junction truly has one of the best reput.

The company supplies parts and components for a wide range of industries including automotive, rail, power, electronic, construction and light engineering.

The extensive portfolio of customers ranges from listed Blue Chip customers (that includes Bell Equipment, Siemens, Alstom, Navistar International, John Deere and General Motors) to large privately owned companies which are market leaders in their respective industries. This includes companies such as Global Composites, Profibre, Filtec Automation and Nortech International.

One of the best laser cutting companies in South Africa enforces strict quality standards and processes and is ISO 9001 certified.

An in-house design department is able to turn customer’s conceptual ideas and designs into fully-realised, production-ready designs.

In January 2013, the company underwent a Management Buy-Out in partnership with a BBBEE investor. Laser Junction is now a fully fledged Black Empowerment Company with a 100% BBBEE rating.
